You’re all brilliant!!!!!

A big cheers to you readers out there too (-: and special thanks to Caroline Smailes, Anne-Claire Lubec and Sean Wood for their incredible additional support.

I would be very interested to hear people’s thoughts on the story, and on taking part, whether as writers or readers.

Personally, I have been overwhelmed by everyone’s creativity. Since the first post and then throughout, there have been so many great stories behind and within and beyond this too, each one crying out to be told. Such imagination and variety. The marvellous c-ray has even transformed some of her posts into poetry. You can read them on her myspace blog http://www.myspace.com/couray. If anybody else out there has taken their own stories further, I’d love to hear from you.

The whole experience, for me, has been amazing – very intense and rather crazy (a bit like the story itself!) I’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity and inventiveness of the responses, constantly surprised, and kicked out of my comfort zone. But, most of all, I’ve had a lot of fun.

(massive thanks again!)

That was really interesting. As a writer, I found it stretched me in areas where I sometimes didn't want to go.

I'm in awe of what has been achieved. Huge congratulations.

Thank you both!!
The experience has been incredible - yes, and very challenging as well. Each time I thought I could guess where the story might go next, it didn't - which I'm sure was how everyone felt . . . plus having to totally banish my obsessive inner editor (is this how you felt?) that was sometimes very daunting - but, in a funny way, I kind of liked it too

I'm really sorry that life dragged me away from this Megan - and as you know it was something I wish I could have avoided but just couldn't. I've returned to read it all avidly - not sure I understand all of what went on in the story, but it was great to share in it. I'll look forward to reading your 'work' on it! (No pressure of course!)

Loved reading the story, very dark and disturbing! It must be difficult to ease the different pieces together and yet the stroy is so seamless.
And thanks for the comment on my Candyfloss blog, I'd only just caught up with it!

Thank you chris and jon m!!

I'm not sure how much complete sense it makes, but I think there are many sparks of fabulous writing running through it. And, for me, the whole thing was so challenging and interesting, and fun too.

chris - thank you tons for getting us started with the first response!!

jon m, cheers too, and I really enjoyed your story, loved the combination of down to earth and supernatural ( - have you read any Paul Magrs Brenda and Effie stories? 'Never the Bride', 'Something Borrowed', you might enjoy them)thought your story had some very great lines too.

I liked that. Really did. Alomst got lost once or twice but it comes together so nicely at the end, especially when we come round full circle.
Congrats to everyone.
It was proper mint, how.
